YWDEP x Mauritius Heart Foundation – Medical Day 2025

The Youth with Disabilities Empowerment Platform (YWDEP), in collaboration with the Mauritius Heart Foundation, organised a Medical Day this October 2025— an initiative aimed at promoting access to healthcare and raising awareness on the importance of heart health for all, including persons with disabilities.

This initiative reflects YWDEP’s ongoing commitment to making health and inclusion inseparable priorities. By creating opportunities for free medical screenings, heart check-ups, and health advice, we continue to ensure that community well-being remains accessible, inclusive, and sustainable.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Mauritius Heart Foundation for their collaboration, to Dr. Bunwaree and Mr. Gungadin for their dedication, and to the District Council and the Mauritius Police Force for their invaluable support.
